What is a CIGS thin film solar cell?
Choosing flexible CIGS solar panels will bring you more long-term benefits. Anywhere and durable, save time and effort.
--Made of CIGS material. CIGS stands for copper indium gallium selenide.
--Much more durable. CIGS thin-film solar cells do not break as easily as monocrystalline silicon solar cells.
--True flexibility. The CIGS thin-film solar cells can be bent 360° and adapt to all types of irregular roofs.

FAQ
To keep your CIGS solar panel sticking, here are some tips for daily maintenance:
1. When cleaning the components, wipe the stains on the panel with a clean, damp, soft, non-abrasive, fine fiber cloth or sponge.
2. When disassembling the panel, remove any residue on the surface of the mounting substrate with industrial alcohol.
3. Replace the adhesive layer if you find that there are gaps between the solar panel and the mounting bracket surface, which will lead to a reduction in adhesion with daily use.
Yes, it is possible to integrate this 200W CIGS solar panel into a home's electrical panel, but it is important that the electrical parameters of the solar panel match those of the home's electrical panel.
It is not recommended to cut the 200W solar panels by yourself. We are currently developing more sizes of CIGS solar panels, so please subscribe to our store for updates.
Yes, it is safe to step on the panels. Our flexible solar panels use CIGS thin film cells, which are much stronger than monocrystalline silicon cells. They can withstand a maximum pressure of 2400PA, which is approximately 244.8kg/m².
No, we do not recommend connecting a CIGS solar panel with a 200W 9BB mono solar panel in series or parallel. Because CIGS panels and mono panels have a significant voltage difference, they cannot be connected in parallel, so it is not recommended to connect these two types of panels together. When connecting different sized panels, it is important to consider the voltage and current between the panels. Panels connected in series must have the same or similar current rating, and when connected in series, the current rating is usually the minimum current of the panels. If one panel is blocked or damaged, the entire circuit will be blocked. Panels connected in parallel must have the same or similar voltage, and a large voltage difference can create a risk of burns.
The BougeRV 200W Flexible Solar Panel is a great solution for applications that require a lightweight, flexible and aesthetically pleasing solar panel. It can be easily mounted on curved or irregular surfaces, making it ideal for RVs, boats, trailers, tents and other outdoor applications. Plus, our 200W solar panel is highly efficient, producing more power in low light conditions thanks to advanced CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium Selenide) technology.
The BougeRV 200W flexible solar module has several advantages over conventional rigid solar modules.
(1) It is completely flexible and can be bent up to 360 degrees without damaging the cells or module.
(2) It has a slim profile and can be easily installed without adding additional weight or bulk to your vehicle or structure.
(3) It has a sleek and modern design that blends into the surface and enhances the overall appearance.
(4) By using CIGS technology, it performs better in low light and high temperatures, increasing the overall energy yield.
The BougeRV 200W Flexible CIGS solar panel comes with pre-drilled holes and grommets on the corners for easy mounting, so you can use mounting brackets, suction cups or adhesive tapes to attach it to your roof, wall or ground. It is recommended to use a suitable charge controller and wiring to connect the panel to your battery or inverter. Please refer to the user manual for detailed instructions.
